The only cards that are no longer available to buy are Limited Edition Cards, these cards can only be bought when they are first released, if you still need Limited Edition cards I think your best chance is on ebay. Match Attax Football Cards - World Championships
As you all know the Match Attax World Championship regional events were taking place across the UK over Easter and loads of you came along to take part and try and secure your place in the World Final.
The events were wicked and everyone really enjoyed themselves, but the competition was fierce. There were some top players on show, some collectors had even been to previous events and tasted victory against a Match Attax Master!
All the players who took part really knew their stuff and the Match Attax team were impressed with everyone. All the event winners can now be found in the World Championships Hall of Fame.
These lucky few move on to the World Finals which take place on May 24th at Craven Cottage as Fulham host Everton on the final day of the Barclays Premier League season. The two players who make to the final showdown will compete on the pitch, with the winner being crowned the first-ever Match Attax World Champion! How cool is that!
After the finalists have enjoyed the game, they will be taken on an open top bus parade around London. This will give the winner the opportunity to show of the awesome World Championship trophy and celebrate their victory in true style.

Match Attax Football Cards - World Championships Finals.
MATCH ATTAX EXTRA CARDS MAY NOT BE USED IN THE WORLD FINALS MATCHES.
There will be 4 groups - 3 groups of 4 players and 1 group of 5 players.Each Player will play 1 game against the other players in their group.3 points will be awarded to each match winner or 1 point should the game end in a draw.
The players from each group with the most points will progress to the Semi Finals.In the event of players finishing on the same points, the result of the match between the Players involved will determine the winner.In the event of that being a draw then Goal Difference, followed by Goals For across all games will be compared, with the highest qualifying.Should this remain a draw then a 5-a-side play off between the Players involved will determine the winner.
Number of competitors per round: 4
Each competitor will play 1 game against another opponent. The Winner from each game will qualify to the World Final!
In the event of a draw a 5-a-side game will be played.
The World Final will be contested between the final two players. 1 game will be played to determine the winner.
As the game will be played at half-time of an official Premier League fixture, time for the final will be limited to 8 minutes.
If the game has not been finished in the allotted time the player with the highest score will be crowned the winner.
If the game is tied at the end of the 8 minutes it goes to Golden Goal and the next winning point decides the match.

Match Attax Football Cards

Thousands of Match Attax fans gathered in Birmingham and Liverpool this weekend as the eagerly anticipated World Championships got underway.
It all kicked-off on Saturday in Birmingham where there was a fantastic turnout of collectors all hoping to become the first-ever Match Attax World Champion.
With binders packed full of Match Attax cards, there were some top players on show who really knew their stuff. In the end, Elliot Brown, claimed victory using a brand new Hat-Trick Hero card from Match Attax Extra to secure his place in the World Finals in May.
On Sunday the tour continued in Liverpool, where once again the standard was very high. The Match Attax team even managed to spot some familiar faces that had come along and took on a master at previous events.
Greg Beresford who gained some vital tournament experience in the October tour, returned to claim victory in Liverpool and also progresses to the World Finals in May.
Remember, the winners from the regional events staged worldwide will compete at Craven Cottage on the final day of the Barclays Premier League season as we find out who the best Match Attax player in the world really is!
We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who has come along so far and made the events such a big success. If you haven’t had a chance to get down to an event yet don’t worry as the dates continue throughout the Easter holidays.

Match Attax, the phenomenal Premier League trading card game currently taking the UK’s playgrounds by storm, is on the road in a series of footie fun days!
This Easter holidays the team from Topps is visiting venues up and down the UK and Ireland – they’re a must have for all football fans so why not get yourself along!
Each event promises to be a great free football day out and there will be a whole host of exciting activities on offer.
Match Attax fans can play against new opponents and even have the chance to play to become Match Attax World Champion 2009! Take a look at the news section of the website to see who the finalists so far are!
If you’re a Topps Total Football collector, you can also exchange your ‘swapsies’ at the sticker swap shop.
As if that’s not enough, you can also pit your wits against the experts in the Question of Football quiz or take a shot in the penalty shoot out challenge and win some awesome prizes!
The events are free to enter, although there is a small charge of £1 for some activities. Events run from 10 am until 1pm with queuing for the Match Attax World Championships opening at 10am and closing at 2pm.

How to collect match attax football cards and other sets of cards at a fraction of the retail price.

How to collect and complete full sets of Match Attax, Shoot Out and other Football Card sets by Merlin, Topps, Panini and Upper Deck at a fraction of the cost you would pay in your local shop.

It is very easy to collect a full base set of cards in an official album for under £30.00, In the shops for £30.00 you can only buy an album and 55 packets of cards which would give you 336 cards of which you would have a large amount of duplicate cards and be nowhere near a full set.

ABOUT ME
I started collecting Football Cards in 1978, Topps with orange backs, I was only a child then and obviously like most children I played with them, swapped them at school so the condition of the cards rapidly got worse with creases, corners scuffed and so not very collectable. I carried on year after year buying football cards and as I got older began to take more care of the cards and store them in boxes or albums. When I reached the age of 30 I had literally thousands of these cards but not many full sets, as I had the same problem as most other collectors in only being able to buy them from shops, so it got more and more expensive and I also had thousands of duplicate cards, then came the Internet and computers available to most people in their own home, I was able to find many sources of these cards a lot cheaper than buying in shops and without getting multiple duplicate cards. Full Sets were a lot easier to come by, so I carried on this way for a few years collecting one full set of each set released. Remember this was only a hobby of mine, when Match Attax took over from Shoot Out in 2007-08 I opened a shop on eBay selling these Match Attax Cards, it was a lot of work but work I loved doing as collecting is my passion, so much work in fact that I left my full time job solely to concentrate on E-Bay.

The match attax cards were released on the 14th October 2007 and by the 21st of December my eBay rating was up to 1,500 and I had made over £10,000, also because of the huge number of boxes of cards I was buying and selling, I had a large number of each card and was able to collect a perfect set of cards for myself, with no marks on them, picture dead in the centre of the card, untouched corners and edges, which are the main things any serious card collector looks for.

I cannot believe how much money some people spend on a single card from match attax on ebay, here are a few examples of cards I have sold.

Hundred Club - Fernando Torres (Liverpool) £20.00

Hundred Club - Christiano Ronaldo (Manchester United) £20.00

Limited Edition - Fernando Torres (Liverpool) £27.50

Man of the Match - Steven Gerrard (Liverpool) £15.00

Those are just a few of the thousands I have sold, the Steven Gerrard Man of the Match card was the most popular card in Match attax 2007/08, I sold over 100 of them at £10-15 each......... I was buying these at 35 pence a card !

Match Attax 2008/09 There are 5 players to collect in the Hundred Club, Torres, Ronaldo, Fabregas, Cech and Ferdinand which I sold a lot of for between £8.00-£20.00 each.......... again I can tell you where to buy these cards for only 35 pence each !

Match Attax 2008/09 Limited Edition Cards, Rosicky, Young, Miller and others, again I have sold a lot of these cards for £10-20 each and they were all available for under £2.50 each if you knew where to get them.

Match Attax Extra 2008/09 Update !

The new update cards will be in the shops on Thursday 12th March !

All the latest signings from the January transfer window, new Man of the Match Cards, Club Captains, Hat-Trick Heroes and brand new Fans Favourites as voted for by us collectors.

There is also one new addition to the HUNDRED CLUB.

Be sure to buy The New Match Attax collector Guide also in the shops on the 12th.

The new update cards have some cards making their first appearance in match attax as they were not in last seasons collection, they are called "Fans Favourites". Only 2 days to go until the release of this seasons Match Attax Extra Update Cards, and with all the latest signings from the January transfer window, hat-trick heroes, 20 foil club captains, player of the month and 1 more addition to the 100 club it is sure to be as big a success as last season, however by this time last season the chatrooms and forums were full of parents complaining about Match Attax bringing out more cards when the collection was already so big and because of all the Limited edition and the 60 Man of the Match cards it had cost them a fortune already. As i have made so much money on e-bay selling match Attax i want to tell parents and collectors alike you do not need to spend £10-15 on a single card, I can tell you where you can get all the Man of The Match and 100 Club players for only 35 pence each and with no postage costs, also the foil Club Captains and Star Players for only 22 pence each.
